Duties

Ambulatory Care

Provide hospitality and support to patients and families. Escort patients including wheelchair transports to incoming patients.  Hours needed:  Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. 

Moderate walking and standing required. 

Cafeteria

Cashier.    Hours needed:  Monday thru Friday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Moderate walking and sitting required. 

Gift Shop

Provide customer service/cashier.  Hours needed:  Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday from 9 am to noon.

Moderate sitting, standing, and walking required.

Maintenance

Assist with spring and fall grounds projects including raking, landscaping, etc.  Hours needed:  Will vary.

Extensive walking, bending, lifting, and carrying required.

Nursing Home

Provide one-to-one interaction and group interactions.  Assist with activities including bingo, singing, outings, and special events.  Assist with escorts and wheelchair transports of residents.  Hours needed:  Sunday thru Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm.

Pastoral Care

Careline Installer.  Installs Careline units in homes of Careline subscribers.  Hours needed:  Will vary.

Moderate walking, bending, standing, carrying, and driving required.

Special Projects

Assist with copying, collating, filing, preparing mailings, stuffing envelopes.  Assisting with special events such as employee recognition events, resident events, community events, Foundation events (salad luncheon, golf outing), Auxiliary events (love light ceremony).  Hours needed:  Will vary.

Pop Machine Filler: We are in need of someone to come and fill the pop machines each week. Hours are flexible and it would take about 2 hours a week. Also, we are looking for someone to be in charge of handling the money from these machines.

HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT: T    Housekeeping Assistant: The clinic is in need of a housekeeping assistant to assist the Clinic Director in housekeeping tasks. Some of the essential duties are dusting of physicians offices, registration office, and directors office.  Hours will vary for this position, and the schedule is flexible

MEDICAL EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT:  We are looking for someone to be responsible for the cleaning and restoring of medical equipment. Some repair skills are needed for this position. The hours and scheduled are varied and flexible.

 MEDICAL  EQUIPMENT SHOPPER: A volunteer is needed to be responsible for the shopping for and buying of used medical equipment for the Used Medical Equipment program. The ability to discern good medical equipment from bad is needed. The hours are varied and flexible.
